Who Am I?
Hello, I’m Brazelina! I was the kid that always baked sweets growing up. Even with a brownie box mix I never followed the recipe. Did it need more chocolate? Less salt? Maybe some peanut butter? Magically, somehow the recipe always came out good, if not great! And before you knew it, I wasn’t following the recipe for most things in life. But hey! What do you expect? I come from a long line of Portuguese, Italian, and UK heritage. Stubbornness kinda’ runs in the family.
Fast Forward to today.
Life is crazy! I’m happily married with three amazing kids of my own. These days, I’m just trying to keep my kitchen together one meal at a time. Now, after many, many years of friends and family begging me for recipes and asking me to start a bakery, I eventually got the hint and started a food blog! I realize it isn’t the same thing, but this suits me better…

Hello Brazelina – Inspiration
My name came from my great-grandmother Brazelina who was born on São Miguel island, Azores (widely considered the Hawaii of Europe). My Grampy passed down the family’s Portuguese recipes to me, and has ultimately inspired generations to cook what they love, just as his mother before him. So whenever possible, I use that Portuguese flare to create something extraordinary in the kitchen, and I hope to also inspire you as well.
